The UAE Pavilion, host nation at Expo 2020 Dubai which told the story of the ‘Land of Dreamers Who Do’; from its ancient roots as a crossroad for people, goods and ideas, to its transformation into a unified nation and a home to people from over 200 countries. Swiss-Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava created a pavilion informed by the shape of a falcon’s wing for the UAE at the Dubai Expo 2020, designed as a symbol of the UAE’s pioneering spirit.
